Terms of Website Use
The terms on which you may use the Greystone Recruitment website. Last updated 26 October 2026.
About these terms
These terms govern your use of the Greystone Recruitment website. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Separate terms apply to any engagement between Greystone Recruitment and a client, and to any placement of a candidate. Those terms are agreed in writing and take precedence over anything on this website.
No guarantee of placement or introduction
Registering as a candidate, submitting a curriculum vitae or making an enquiry does not create an agreement between us, does not guarantee an introduction, an interview or a placement, and does not oblige us to act on your submission.
Greystone works selectively. We may decline to represent a candidate or to accept an instruction, and we are not required to give reasons. Where a role is not right for you, we would rather say so plainly than leave you waiting.
Vacancies shown on this site are indicative. Salary ranges, start dates and locations are those supplied to us and may change or be withdrawn at any time without notice.
Information you give us
You confirm that the information you submit through this site is accurate, is yours to provide, and does not infringe anyone else’s rights. If you submit information about a third party — a referee, for example — you confirm that you are entitled to do so.
Personal information you submit is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Confidentiality and discretion
Discretion is fundamental to our work. Where we share information with you in the course of a search — the identity of a household, the details of a role, or anything you learn about a client or candidate — you must keep it confidential and use it only for the purpose for which it was given.
Non-disclosure agreements are standard in private staffing and we expect candidates and clients to enter into them where a search requires it.
Acceptable use
You must not use this site:
- to submit false, misleading or fraudulent information, or to impersonate anyone;
- to send unsolicited commercial communications, or to harvest contact details, vacancy listings or candidate information for any purpose;
- to introduce viruses, malicious code or anything designed to harm the site or its users;
- to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any connected system, or to test its security without our written permission;
- to place any unreasonable load on the site, including through automated scraping or bulk requests;
- in any way that is unlawful, or that breaches the rights of any other person.
Intellectual property
All content on this site — including the Greystone Recruitment name and logo, text, layout, design and imagery — is owned by Greystone Recruitment or used under licence, and is protected by copyright and trade mark law.
You may view and print pages for your own reference or for a genuine enquiry. You may not reproduce, republish, adapt or commercially exploit any part of the site without our written permission, and you may not remove any copyright or attribution notice.
Availability and third-party links
We aim to keep the site available and its content accurate, but we give no guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or up to date. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site without notice.
Where we link to other websites, we do so for convenience only. We do not control them and we accept no responsibility for their content or their handling of your information.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, we exclude all implied conditions and warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, and we are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or anything on it.
If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.
Changes and governing law
We may amend these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you use the site is the version that applies.
These terms, their subject matter and their formation are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
Questions about these terms should be sent to info@greystonerecruiters.com or raised on 020 8050 8807.
